About Iota Tau Chapter

The Illustrious Iota Tau Chapter!

Our History

Mrs. Sophia Brown-Newsome chartered the Iota Tau Chapter at North Carolina Central University on January 25, 1965. She began a legacy of helping to hone the personal and professional skills of students as well as establishing relationships between students and graduate professionals. Since the inception of our chapter, we have continued to carry on the legacy and have striven to strengthen those relationships.

We pride ourselves on sharing our knowledge with the campus through seminars, workshops, and community service.
